The only thing so far is while spit shining the boots, there were some very very minor flaws/ surface damage that I found. But,  it is leather.  The two small surface nodules were easily removed with a razor blade. And someone made the slightest knife cut over a slight rough area, at back and side of a boot, barely noticeable. I never saw it until I was polishing right at that spot. It was so small. I have polished twice and maybe two in more polishes, I will never see those marks again. Pretty good for something designed a hundred years ago.

Love Corcoran jump boots. These down a little in quality from my last pair, but still very nice boots. They a came true to size. The laces that came with them were square brown and yellow leather that looks bad and works even worse. Buy a good 84 inch round lace and they work much better. Great boots at a great price.
